I/O lookup

46 inputs, 43 outputs, 59 of them with a working note. Type an address, a wire number, a module terminal, or any word from the description - in English or in the original Italian. Filtering is instant and works offline once the page has loaded.

🔴 Wire numbers are read from the wiring diagram, via io-map.md - not computed from the address. Most follow the E1nn / A2nn pattern, but OF.41-OF.47, the carousel group, are labelled A1-A7 on the diagram. Take what is in this column to the machine; the pattern would have sent you looking for seven wires that do not exist.

⚠️ Two output terminals, OF.31 and OF.39, are wired in the rack but carry no PLC symbol and no wire label, so they have no row here. See io-map.md.

🔴 Ribbon ways are not in address order. Each ribbon carries three modules of eight, and the module blocks sit on it in reverse - the third module on ways 1-8, the second on 9-16, the first on 17-24 - while the eight points inside each block ascend normally. Ways 25 and 26 are joined on the board and are the shared negative. Mapped by Grant on 9 September and verified against all 96 points.

E101IF1:2IF_START_ZONA1Start button, zone 1 (N.O.)
START ZONA 1 (A-J) (N.O.)
One green button per zone. Only accepted once the zone's workpiece is clamped and its lamp is lit.
IF.2CN1 way 18
grey 2
E102IF1:3IF_START_ZONA2Start button, zone 2 (N.O.)
START ZONA 2 (C-L) (N.O.)
As zone 1. In pendulum working this can be pressed while the other zone is still cutting - the machine books it and starts the instant the current program ends.

E103IF1:4IF_BLOCCO_AEIClamp pedal, zone 1 (N.O.)
PEDALE BLOC. PEZ. CAMPI A/E/I (N.O.)
Two-press cycle, gated by the PLC. Press-and-release once to raise the stops, float the table and free the vacuum; again to set the panel down and clamp it. Dead unless the machine is expecting a load.

E107IF1:8IF_HOLDHold / feed hold (N.C.)
HOLD (N.C.)
ANDed with both zone photocells into one chain. During a manual reset a break here raises a full emergency, not a hold.
IF.8CN1 way 24
yellow 3
E108IF1:9IF_EMERG_TERMEmergency stop chain (N.C.)
EMERGENZA (N.C.)
A single series chain, not a per-zone breakdown - every per-zone emergency input in the software is unfitted. Includes the rope switch. Keep it hardwired to the drive enables and the main contactor; Mesa monitors, never arbitrates.
IF.9CN1 way 9
white 1
E109IF2:2IF_CONTR_VUOTOVacuum healthy (N.C.)
CONTROLLO VUOTO (N.C.)
The machine's only vacuum sensor - the per-field ones are a generic branch and are not fitted. Enforced only while a program is running, so setup and jogging still work with the pump off.

E110IF2:3IF_AGGR_SUAggregates up (N.O.)

How to read the two descriptions

The English line is a plain-language reading of what the point does, written from the wiring diagram and the PLC rather than translated word for word. The italic line under it is the original from MW310.EQU, kept verbatim so any row can be traced back to the machine's own file - and so the filter still finds giostra, battuta or pantografo.

Where a name is actively misleading - BIT1 that is really a strobe, SBLOCCO that is energised to release - the Notes column says so. Those are the rows that cost you a day if you take the name at face value.

Two things this table cannot tell you

Six addresses carry more than one symbol. IF.10 alone carries six - it is a series chain, not six separate points. The machine has 41 real inputs and 41 real outputs, not 46 and 43.

The ATC output symbol names do not match the hardware. What MW310.EQU calls BIT1 is physically the strobe, and every carousel position bit shifts by one. Build the ATC from the wiring diagram, never from these names.

The derivation of module and terminal from the address, and every point's cabinet terminal, Harting pin and field device, are in the full I/O map.
